Amazon Associates

Tikevo is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon. Tikevo is a participant in multiple affiliate-marketing programs, including the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and may, from time to time, other retailer or manufacturer affiliate programs.
Many of the product links on the Site are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and complete a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission.
Commissions are paid by the merchant, not by you. The price you pay is the same as it would be if you visited the merchant directly.
Receiving commissions does not change our editorial opinions, ratings, or recommendations. We also write negatively about products we dislike even when they could earn us a commission.

Canadian Competition Act

Our disclosures are designed to comply with the Canadian Competition Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-34, and the Competition Bureau's Deceptive Marketing Practices Digest guidance on influencer marketing and testimonials (as updated in December 2023). Editorial Independence

Our reviews are the genuine opinions of the person (or persona) whose byline appears on the article, based on hands-on testing, research, and/or longitudinal use. We choose which products to cover based on editorial judgment, reader demand, and category fit — not because a merchant or brand paid us to. We are not paid to write positive reviews, and no merchant or brand has approval rights over our content.

How We Select Products

Research. We start with category research: best sellers, highly rated listings, specialist publications, manufacturer spec sheets, and reader suggestions.
Hands-on testing where possible. Many of the products we cover are purchased with our own funds and tested in everyday conditions by the persona whose expertise matches the category.
Reader feedback. We take questions, corrections, and suggestions from readers seriously and update reviews when better information surfaces.

Gifted Products and Samples

If we receive a product free of charge, as a loan, or at a discount from a manufacturer, retailer, or PR agency, that fact will be disclosed clearly inside the review itself (not only on this page). A gifted product does not buy a positive review — samples are subject to the same editorial standards as products we buy ourselves.

Prices, stock levels, promotions, bundles, and product specifications shown on Tikevo reflect the information available at the time the article was written or last updated. Merchant pricing — and Amazon pricing in particular — changes frequently, sometimes multiple times per day.
