We don't chase volume. We publish the review when we can stand behind the recommendation — and we say so when we can't.

How we review

• Real use, not press releases. We test products in the environments they're built for — kitchens, garages, gym floors, bathrooms, dog parks. No staged demos.
• Comparative testing. A product is only as good as what it beats. We benchmark against category leaders and direct competitors, and we name them.
• Long-term notes. We update reviews when something fails, improves, or changes. The publish date isn't the end of testing.
• Sources cited. Specs and claims link to manufacturer or third-party documentation. If we can't verify it, we don't claim it.

How we make money

Tikevo is reader-supported. When you buy through links on this site we may earn an affiliate commission, mostly through the Amazon Associates program.
